Administration & Scientific Support

The Science Support assists our researchers in all stages of their scientific work. It comprises Empirical Research Support for methodological advice, Grants Support for funding acquisition and project management, Career Services for individual career development, and Scientific Talent Acquisition and Management for the strategic acquisition and development of scientific talent.

Our Technology Transfer plays a key role in bridging innovation from research to applications, driving the commercialization of cutting-edge technologies. This interdisciplinary division comprises the Startups and Entrepreneurship department to support aspiring founders as well as Product Labs where original prototypes for CISPA are created.

The administrative division plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and organized operation of our research center. We handle a wide range of tasks, including procurement, finance, HR, travel and office. Joining this division, you will contribute to the seamless management of research activities and support the center’s overall mission of advancing scientific innovation.

The Infrastructure division ensures the smooth operation of all digital and technical systems across the center as well as the maintenance of our buildings. From network management to user support, from fleet management to facility management and construction management, we enable our outstanding researchers and staff to work efficiently and securely.

This division organizes and directs all matters that are of strategic importance to CISPA. We manage public affairs, international affairs and science relations, organize public events as well as alumni engagement and take care of project and science coordination. Everything we do is guided by the center’s strategic goals and our work contributes to the overall success of the CISPA mission.

Corporate Communications plays a key role in translating our complex scientific findings into accessible, engaging content for diverse audiences. We ensure the effective dissemination of our research results and successes through various channels, including print publications, press releases, photography, film and digital media.

Organization

THE CISPA SPIRIT

CISPA is a great place to be for all our researchers and staff. At our research center, everybody is on first-name terms and (almost) everybody likes to play table soccer after work. And, needless to say, we all enjoy a little chitchat in the hallway.

And because nothing connects people like food and fun, we often come together for a lunch break, an after-work drink, and leisure activities.
