As artificial intelligence (AI) systems increasingly integrate into various aspects of daily life, the importance to ensure their responsible development and deployment becomes paramount. The Responsible and Trusted AI track at AISoLA 2024 seeks to address the diverse challenges posed by AI technologies through an interdisciplinary approach, bringing together experts from fields such as philosophy, law, psychology, economics, sociology, political science, and informatics. This paper introduces key themes within this track, emphasizing the need for meaningful human control, transparency, accountability, and the balance between certainty and intelligence in AI systems. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of interdisciplinary research in this area.
