Short Bio

Dr. Doreen Riepel is a tenure-track faculty at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security. Her research focuses on the theoretical foundations of cryptography and provable security, in particular on the analysis and design of cryptographic schemes and protocols. She works on protocols for authenticated key exchange and secure communication, public-key encryption with advanced functionalities, post-quantum cryptography and formal security proofs. Previously, Doreen was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, San Diego. She received her PhD from Ruhr University Bochum under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eike Kiltz.
