Short Bio

Dr. Lucjan Hanzlik is a faculty at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security. Previously, he was a visiting assistant professor at Stanford University and a research group leader at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security. He obtained his Ph.D. degree at the Institute for Computer Science Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw in January 2016 under the supervision of Prof. Mirosław Kutyłowski. His research focuses mainly on applied cryptography and cryptography for embedded devices. He has published papers at top venues in computer science, including Eurocrypt, Asiacrypt, USENIX Security, and CCS. Lucjan Hanzlik is also a recipient of the IBM Great Minds Award.
