Jane Im ist Tenure-Track Faculty am CISPA Helmholtz-Zentrum für Informationssicherheit, das Teil der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft ist. Ihren Doktortitel erhielt sie sowohl an der School of Information als auch am Department of Computer Science & Engineering der University of Michigan. Sie leitet die Forschungsgruppe Real-world Interactions and Systems for Change (RISC).
