Prof. Dr. Sascha Fahl ist seit April 2018 Professor für Informatik und Leiter des Lehrstuhls für Usable Security and Privacy an der Leibniz Universität Hannover. Dort war er zuvor Leiter des Instituts für IT-Sicherheit (2017 - 2018). Von 2016 bis 2017 war er unabhängiger Forschungsgruppenleiter der Usable Security and Privacy Group am CISPA. Er promovierte 2016 in Informatik an der Leibniz Universität Hannover. Im Jahr 2015 war er Software Engineer (SWE) Praktikant im Chrome Security Team bei Google in Mountain View.
