Dr. Krikamol Muandet ist Tenure-Track-Faculty (Fast Track) am CISPA Helmholtz-Zentrum für Informationssicherheit. Von 2018 bis 2022 war er Forschungsgruppenleiter in der Abteilung Empirische Inferenz am Max-Planck-Institut für Intelligente Systeme in Tübingen. Von Januar 2016 bis Dezember 2017 war er Dozent in der Abteilung Mathematik an der naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Mahidol University in Thailand. Unter der Leitung von Prof. Bernhard Schölkopf promivierte er summa cum laude zu Kernel-Methoden im maschinellen Lernen. Zuvor schloss er sein Master-Studium in maschinellem Lernen am University College London (UCL) mit Auszeichnung ab. Am UCL arbeitete er hauptsächlich in der Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit bei Prof. Yee Whye Teh.
