Prof. Dr. Christian Rossow ist tenured Faculty am CISPA und leitet die Forschungsgruppe System Security. Außerdem hat er eine Professur an der Fakultät für Informatik an der Universität des Saarlandes inne. Von 2014 bis 2016 war Christian Leiter einer unabhängigen Forschungsgruppe am Cluster of Excellence MMCI an der Universität des Saarlandes. Davor war er als Postdoc an der VU Amsterdam (Herbert Bos) und der Ruhr Universität Bochum (Thorsten Holz). Vor seinen Postdoc- Aufenthalten hat er am Institut for Internet Security if(is) in Gelsenkirchen, Deutschland, gearbeitet und 2013 an der VU Amsterdam promoviert. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in den folgenden Bereichen: Cyber Threats (e.g., malware), Network Security and Privacy, Program Analysis und Attack Traceback.
